S06E07 - Dr. Linus

What did I say about Richard last post? I have had a good guess about him. Nemesis words: "It´s good to see you out of those chains". So, the picture speaks for itself. He really has arrived in the island on the black rock, as he says inside it: "And in all the time that I've spent on this island, Today is the first time I've ever come back."

s06e02 - LAX

My theory seems to be right about Richard Alpert. I began to think that he came to the island in the black rock. As we see on the season finale 5, Jacob and his nemesis are watching the black rock on the horizon. Nemesis didn´t want men to come
to the island, unlike Jacob. As Richard seems to be the only man on the island that
doesn´t age trough eras, I thought he was the first man to step on the island in the
arrival of the black rock, receiving though a gift. In the season 6 premiere, nemesis went out of the temple and tells Richard "It's good to see you
out of those chains.". Richard is very surprised and cries out "You?!". "Me!", says
nemesis. I´m not sure if he refers to "chains" metaphorically or.. literaly, since
the black rock is a slavery ship with lots of men in chains.

s05

On the way back to the island, Sun was the only Ocean 6 that didn´t get to 1977. Here´s my theory: Once Sun and Jin meet again, they would want to leave the island, and that wouldn´t work. So the island avoided their encounter. Also, Sun has a daughter in 2007.

As on S05e10, Ethan was born on the island and is also from the Dharma Initiative. So, how did he manage to survive to the purge, considering he was only a child?

s03e13 - The Man From Tallahassee

Locke breaks into Ben´s house while he is in bed, recovering from the surgery. They talk about the submarine in wich Locke explodes with C4 found in the Flame Station. Before that happens, they go into a very interesting dialogue in the kitchen. Sounds like Locke had already figured out what the Island really was, what is like living and being there. Ben and Locke both know about eachother knowing everything about it since their first encounter, in the swan.

Their dialogue:

BEN - Why are you so angry?

LOCKE - You're cheating. You and your people. Communicate with the outside World whenever you want to, you come and go as you please, you use electricity and running water and guns. You're a hypocrite. A Pharisee. You don't deserve to be on this island. If you had any idea what this place really was, you wouldn't be putting chicken in your refrigerator!

Obviously, Locke is talking about their eternal journey in the island, giving up any comfort, luxury, convenience of tecnology as well as not minding about the outside world, as it ever been for ages as we can see it over season 5. There´s no point living a modern life on the island.

s03e06 - I Do

After all psicological efforts to convince Jack to perform a surgery on Ben´s dorsal spine, the procedure takes place. Intriguing when Jack starts it, Pickett gets off the room towards Sawyer´s cage with the other guy and says "Ben put his life in the hands of them. Shephard wasn't even on Jacob's list."

Remembering that the list contained 4 names was handled to Michael by Bea. Jack´s, Kate´s, Sawyer´s and Hurley´s names were in it. Appears that Ben included Jack after he found out he was a spinal surgeon.

s02e24 - Live Together, Die Alone - Part Two

According to Kelvin, the button has to be pushed every 108 minutes to prevent an electromagnetic charge up. It´s a system created because of the incident said on the footage, a leak, that causes this eletromagnetic charge, geologically unique, according to Marvin Candle (season 5). If one fails to push the button on time, the whole place shakes due to an eletromagetism activity that comes up. There´s a security key lock underneath the station that apparently made the whole island gets overlighted and overnoised as if it were traveling in time (like in season 5). That big discharge made the brazilian crew on Penny´s boat (bad american actors speaking portuguese) detect the magnetic activity. The same happened on the day of the flight 815 crash. Desmond didn´t push the button on time, as he believes it caused the plane crash.

s02e17 - Lockdown

So, whenever the code is not entered on time, something "unlocks" the sky and something or someone falls from the sky? Note: we later see Ben telling Locke that he never entered the code.
